Strathcanaird
An immense sheet of ice once flowed like a river over this land, carving out the valley in front of you. The mountains on either side of this valley are capped by quartzite, a very hard rock. The quartzite resisted erosion by the sheet of ice, so the mountains were left standing proud of the valley.
