The lay-by on the A832, approximately 1 mile / 2km from Braemore junction, offers an opportunity to see the fantastic view along the valley of Loch Broom to the hills of Coigach. Now partially filled in with river sediments, the broad U shaped valley, characteristic of erosion by glaciers, is still apparent.
