Loch Eriboll
Loch Eriboll is an impressive deep sea loch once used as a naval anchorage. The east side of the loch is formed from limestone, and the west side from quartzite. The different rock types form different soils which affect the vegetation so that there are grasslands on the limestone, and heaths on the quartzite.
